I watched the film Alive last night, I feel it is very meaningful to all of us, so now I want to share it with you guys here.

Alive is a very old film produced in 1993, but its meaning is not old, its still fresh. We can learn how to survive from disaster like airplane crash. So let’s talk about it.

According to Wikipedia:

Alive is a 1993 film by the husband and wife team, director Frank Marshall and producer Kathleen Kennedy. It is based upon Piers Paul Read’s acclaimed 1974 book, Alive: The Story of the Andes Survivors (which itself was based upon interviews with survivors of the crash of Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 on October 13, 1972).

One of the survivors, Nando Parrado, (portrayed by Ethan Hawke in the film) served as the technical advisor to the film. Alive is narrated by John Malkovich.

The story is very simple, but it is meaningful. Here it is: The film tells the story of a Uruguayan Rugby team (who were alumni of Stella Maris College (Montevideo)) and their friends and family who were involved in the aircraft crash of Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 which crashed into the Andes mountains on October 13, 1972.

The film described how they try to survive in such a disaster. The most impressive scene is they didn’t have enough food, they ate human’s dead body. This is a very controversial question, should we eat? In my opinion, they did the right thing, they ate, I would eat if I was in the same situation.

Alive is a movie able to touch your heart (and your stomach) as it grimly displays the miraculous true story of survival in the Andes. Using relative unknowns at the time, Alive was able to manipulate the audiences into believing that the circumstances were actually happening. Yeah, this movie can touch your deep heart, you must react about it. This is its meaning.

Have you ever watched this film? If not, I highly recommend watching it, you can learn something useful to your life from this movie. I feel my life is better after watching this film, I mean I will love my life more then ever. This is the meaning for me. What do you think?

Today’s topic is A Walk to Remember, this is an old but classic film produced in 2007. I believe it is one of the most meaningful films I’ve watched these years. I have to say “Oh, my god’s pretty daughter, I love it like crazy!”. So I’m super glad to share it with you guys here.

According to Wikipedia:

A Walk to Remember is a 2002 romance film based on the 1999 romance novel with the same name by Nicholas Sparks. The movie stars pop singer Mandy Moore and Shane West. The movie was directed by Adam Shankman and produced by Denise DiNovi and Hunt Lowry for Warner Bros.. The novel, written by Sparks, is set in the 1950s while the film is set in present day.

This is a romance film, and the story is not complicated, but it is really touching. I’m not shy to tell you that I was crying when I watched it. Yeah, it is worth my tears.

Here is the plot: Each spring in the little port town of Beaufort, North Carolina, when the wind smells of pine and salt and the sea, Landon Carter remembers his senior year at Beaufort High and Jamie Sullivan, the girl who changed his life… Serious and conservative, Jamie is the daughter of the town’s Baptist minister and not afraid of letting people know that her faith is the most important part of her life, even if it cost her some friends. After a harmless prank goes terribly wrong, Landon is forced to tutor a young student at a poor school and participate in the Drama Club’s spring play – two activities the principal hopes will teach him some humility. They also happen to throw him into close contact with Jamie. Clearly in over his head, Landon is forced to ask her for help. Soon, against his own expectations, Landon finds himself falling in love with this outwardly plain girl who possesses a passion for life he never imagined possible.

You see? A touching love story, if you are not touched by it, I have to say you are a rock.

Love is like the wind. You cannot see it but you can always feel it. This is what we can learn from A Walk to Remember . It is also the tagline of this film. Very poetic, right?

Cast:

Marley & Me is a very interesting and funny film I’ve watched this year, I watched it few days ago, I have to say, it is one of the best movies I’ve ever watched this year. Watching it is just like taking a leisure, it’s very comfortable. So here I’m gonna talk about it.

According to Wikipeida:

Marley & Me is a 2008 American dramedy film directed by David Frankel. The screenplay by Scott Frank and Don Roos is based on the memoir of the same title by John Grogan. The film was released in the United States and Canada on December 25, 2008 and set a record for the largest Christmas Day box office ever with $14.75 million in ticket sales

The story is not complicated, it is: An ambitious young reporter, John Grogan, and his wife, Jenny, also a reporter, move to a Florida, buy a house and adopt a Labrador puppy they name Marley. Marley quickly becomes a rollicking force of nature in their lives.

This is a very good drama. The number one reason I love this film is I am a big fan of Owen Wilson, I just love his films, he performs perfectly in every films, I have to say he is a genius. I have watched all of his films, they are classic!

According to Wikipedia:

Owen Cunningham Wilson (born November 18, 1968) is an American actor and Academy Award-nominated writer. He is also a member of the Frat Pack.

The actress Jennifer Aniston performed very well too, and she is very beautiful. According to Wikipedia:

Jennifer Joanna Aniston (born February 11, 1969) is an American actress. She became famous in the 1990s for her role as Rachel Green in the popular US sitcom Friends, a role for which she won an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

She has starred in several Hollywood films. While most of her film roles have been in comedies such as Bruce Almighty, Office Space, Rumor Has It, and the romantic comedies Along Came Polly and The Break-Up, she has also appeared in films from other genres, such as the comedy-horror Leprechaun and the crime thriller Derailed. The most recent films that she has starred in are Marley & Me and He’s Just Not That into You.

Let’s take a look at what other people say about the movie Marley & Me:

Wonderful movie about life as the characters played by Jennifer Anniston and Owen Wilson get married and start their life together with the “most stupidest dog in the world”. Lots of laughs in this movie but also as the story unfolds with the Grogan’s careers and family they all love their dog “Marley”.

This can be quite the tear jerker however I found the movie to be quite heart warming and very beautiful. We watch as the family grows and how their silly dog is a very important part of the family. Anyone who has had a dog can relate the movie moves along at a nice pace. Both Anniston and Wilson did very well here especially Wilson as we get to see him acting a serious part and doing it so well.

—— Source: IMDb

Marley & Me has become one of the bestsellers on Amazon, you can learn more about it by visiting the link.

So what do you think about Marley & Me? Have you watched it? If not, are you going to watch it?
