Let’s take a look at what critics said about this movie:

  • “Unfortunately, I Love You, Mancould have been so much more than the series of missed opportunities — not to mention the predictable humor — it turned out to be. “Los Angeles Times

    - Betsy Sharkey

  • “There are ribald jokes and gross-out episodes, but the movie works because everything hinges on the camaraderie and undeniable chemistry between Rudd and Segel.”USA Today

    - Claudia Puig

  • I Love You, Man cranks out the kind of lowball humor that makes you gag on your own laughs.”Variety

    - Todd McCarthy

Now let’s take a look at what other people said about I Love You, Man:

Rudd, the most valuable player in many an Apatow supporting cast, is likable and funny and brings perfect pitch to the comedy of off-key awkwardness…

A bit of a mess, but it’s funny more often than not, and at times it has real heart. If you can handle the language and gross gags, it could be good for a date or a guys’ night out.

I Love You, Man is the second movie this year — He’s Just Not That Into You being the first — with a popular catchphrase for its title. This is one of the film’s few distinctions.
