Sarvam (Tamil: சர்வம்; English: Everything) is a forthcoming 2009 Indian Tamil romantic thriller film written and directed by Vishnuvardhan, who has earlier directed highly successful Tamil films like Arinthum Ariyamalum (2005), Pattiyal (2006) and Billa (2007). Starring Arya and Trisha Krishnan in the lead and Telugu actor J. D. Chakravarthy and Malayalam actor, Indrajith, in other prominent supporting roles, the film, which had been under production since end-2006, is produced and distributed by K. Karunamoorthy and C. The Truth About Sarvam:

The movie plot of Sarvam was ready by the year 2006 and it was a project of Director Vishnuvardhan who is delighted to carve the romantic plot.

Vishnuvardhan at first approached actor Surya in the year 2006 and narrated the story to Surya then. Vishnu was inclined in directing this movie with Surya and Ileana in the lead. As Surya was busy with his marriage, he postponed the movie for a short while.

Ileana demanded a remuneration of Rs 1 crore 75 lakhs for this film and Vishnu was left paled by hearing this.

Then director Vishnuvardhan approached actress Nila to play the lead role, but as soon as she heard the script and the star cast she demanded a bomb. Vishnu could not convince her for a less amount and so Nila was also sidelined.

Then Vishnuvardhan came up with the thought of approaching Anushka Shetty who was tagged as a glam doll of Telugu cinema industry, Anushka readily agreed to play the female lead for a fair amount. [Via: CelebrityRip]
