For those who love to watch animations, Monsters vs Aliens is one of the most wonderful films you must watch. Now people are talking much about this great film, well, let’s join them now and begin to discuss it.

<strong>Monsters vs. Aliens is a 2009 computer-animated 3-D feature film from DreamWorks Animation and Paramount Pictures. The movie was the first computer animated movie to be directly produced in a stereoscopic 3-D format instead of converting the film into 3-D after it is finished, which added $15 million extra to the film’s budget. No wonderful so many people love it like crazy, it could be one of them most successful animations in the world.

The film was scheduled for a May 2009 release, but it was moved to March 27, 2009, so as to prevent competition with James Cameron’s upcoming Avatar, which has since moved its release to December 2009. Monsters vs. Aliens stars the voices of Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson, Kiefer Sutherland, and Stephen Colbert. If you haven’t watched it, you should go to the cinema tonight with your friend, you will have a wonderful time, I promise.

This is film is best to be watched at cinema, you can’t feel the shocking effect if you watch in your PC.

Plot: When a meteorite from outer space hits a young girl and turns her into a giant monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag group of monsters also rounded up over the years…

This story is very simple, but it very attractive, especially for children.

This film had the promise of being really funny with a great line up of talented actors such as Kiefer Sutherland, Seth Rogen, Reese Witherspoon and Hugh Laurie (all talented Actors) and produced by DreamWorks.

Unfortunately the laughs were quite tame and even for mid aged kids they weren’t very funny, being more for 4-9 age group. Whether the cause was the script writers strike or the need to push out as many films as possible I was left quite disappointed. This is definitely a wait for DVD film unless you are taking young children to a safe film. This was definitely run of the mill and if you paid for the 3d glasses you are probably now regretting this.

For me, the other characters in ‘Monsters Vs. Aliens’ fail to measure up to B.O.B.– who’s voiced to amusing perfection by Seth Rogen.

Monsters vs Aliens is skilfully animated and spasmodically funny, but you get the impression the film’s seven (!) writers ran out of ideas two-thirds of the way through.
